For women’s health practices

Order compounded estradiol and progesterone for your women’s health practice.

Hormone therapy and menopause prescriptions — estradiol and progesterone — ordered in the TrueRoute clinic portal and filled by licensed 503A pharmacies in our network.

  • The exact item, or we ask. Formulation, strength and package size, matched one to one.
  • The whole total. Shipping and applicable fees on their own lines.
  • No integration project. Your team orders in a web portal.

What your clinic can order.

The hormone therapy medications a women’s health practice prescribes most, ordered as patient-specific prescriptions in the portal.

  • Estradiol, as a hormone therapy prescription for menopause, filled by licensed 503A pharmacies in our network
  • Progesterone, as a patient prescription written by your prescriber
  • Your account’s price for the ship-to state, with shipping shown before you order
  • Your prescriber decides what is right for each patient

How the comparison works

  1. 01

    Send three items

Tell us about your practice, then send up to three items you regularly order: the formulation, concentration, package size and usual quantity. A product list is enough. Leave out patient information.

  2. 02

    Review your matched total

Our team matches each item to the exact product in the catalog available to clinics and prepares the applicable total for your shipping state, with shipping and applicable fees on their own lines.

  3. 03

    Open an account

If it fits, open an account online with your clinic and prescriber details. We check NPI and licences automatically, a person verifies your clinic before your first order goes through, and your team orders in the portal.

If you tell us your current total and what it includes, the comparison shows the difference from that number, so any savings it shows are calculated from your own figures.

Purchasing, before and after.

What changes when your team orders through one clinic portal.

Today

  • A separate portal, login and invoice for each supplier.
  • Shipping and fees appear at checkout, after the choice is made.
  • Order status means a phone call or an email thread.
  • Strengths and package sizes that never quite line up item for item.

With TrueRoute

  • One clinic portal for every item your account can order.
  • Your account’s price for the ship-to state, with shipping beside it, before you order.
  • Every order in one list, with tracking once it ships and a reason when it stops.
  • The exact item, or we ask: never a different strength or package to lower a price.

See your total before you change anything.

Send three items you already order. We match each one and show the total with shipping and applicable fees.

Every strength and form, matched exactly.

A menopause and hormone practice often carries several strengths and forms of the same product. Send the exact formulation, concentration and package size for each item you buy, and we match each one exactly or ask, so your team evaluates a like-for-like comparison.

  • Your catalog, at your account’s prices.

In the portal, each item shows your account’s price for the patient’s ship-to state and what shipping adds. An item your account cannot order says why.

    • Priced for the ship-to state
    • Shipping options listed beside the price
    • A plain reason for anything unavailable
A clinician at her desk on the phone, working on a laptop
  • Every order, and where it is.

One list shows what was sent, what shipped and what needs attention, with tracking and a reason when an order stops.

    • Status for every order in one place
    • Tracking once a package ships
    • A reason when an order stops

Three programs, kept apart.

The comparison names the program each item falls under. Which programs your account uses is set up with you: patient-specific compounded prescriptions, office stock from a 503B outsourcing facility and physician-use supply are ordered today once your account holds the program.

  • Patient-specific compounded (503A)

A prescription written for a named patient, signed by your prescriber under their own NPI and state licensure, and dispensed for that patient.

  • Office stock (503B)

Practice stock from an outsourcing facility, bought as a purchase order with no patient attached. It needs an ordering provider and an approved delivery location.

  • Physician use

Items sold under their own physician-use program and labelling.

What TrueRoute is.

TrueRoute is prescription ordering and pharmacy operations software. Orders are filled by licensed pharmacies in our network: TrueRoute selects the fulfillment route under a written routing policy, and it does not dispense. We never substitute a different formulation, strength or package to lower a price.

Purchasing questions.

  • What do you need for a purchasing comparison?

Up to three items your clinic already orders: for each, the formulation, concentration, package size and usual quantity, plus the state and ZIP code you ship to. A product list is enough to begin. Please leave out patient names, prescriptions and any other patient information.

  • How is the comparison prepared?

Our team matches each item to the exact formulation, concentration and package size in the catalog available to clinics and prepares the applicable total for your shipping state, with shipping and applicable fees on their own lines. If more than one package fits a description, we ask before we compare. We never substitute a different formulation, strength or package to lower a price.

  • Do I have to tell you what we pay today?

No. If you include your current total and what it covers, the comparison shows the difference from that number. If you leave it out, you still see the applicable total for each item.

  • Are prescriptions and office stock compared the same way?

Prescriptions written for a named patient and stock bought for your office are separate programs, each with its own rules, and each is available once your account’s program is set up. The comparison says which program each item falls under, and we compare an item only against products your clinic could order through a program that fits it.

  • Who fills the order if we go ahead?

Licensed pharmacies in our network fill orders. TrueRoute is the ordering and operations software: it selects the fulfillment route under a written routing policy, and it does not dispense.

  • Do we need an integration project to start?

No. Your team orders in the TrueRoute clinic portal in a web browser. You open your account online, and a person on our team verifies your clinic before your first order.
